Individual v/s Committee

I came across the following saying recently. Though i believed in this fact from many years but, never shared that opinion with opinion because of having observed the general attitude that One should always work in Teams as it increases leadership skills, team spirit and human interaction. And if I opposed to the teams or groups, I would be called selfish as I am not sharing my opportunity with others.

The saying is of Tavares Desa, Undersecretary of Public Information, United Nations:


“If you want to get a job done give it to an individual but if you,

do not want it done give it to a committee.”
